Capital Affairs focuses on helping organizations design and implement special events, meetings, conferences, conventions, training seminars, retreats and much more. The concept of total event management was designed to help organizations save time and money through experienced attention to event planning details.

Our mission is to alleviate the stress that burdens staff at all levels when planning an event. Capital Affairs understands that often times staff is inundated with the day-to-day responsibilities of their own job. Adding the additional responsibility of event planning can often be overwhelming.

Capital Affairs strives to be a cost-effective and stress-free alternative. Our experienced staff will work within your budget to plan your event. Organizations can receive a package rate for total event management or a modified package rate based on the level of support needed. Hourly billing is an available option for organizations needing a little extra event planning support to meet their objectives.

Capital Affairs focuses on helping small to mid-size not-for-profit organizations build sustainable fundraising programs. Our mission is to help not-for-profits build new fundraising programs from the ground up. Capital Affairs staff will work with organizations toward the goal of having enough sustainable income to support the hiring of an in-house development staff associate.  

For the not-for-profit organization that currently employs a development staff associate, Capital Affairs can assist with a with fundraising needs assessment to help take current fundraising programs to a higher level. Sometimes additional fundraising support is all an organization needs to take the next steps toward growth.
